Naomi Jane's qualifications include an GNVQ, AVCE and Foundation in Art and Design specialising in textiles, A NCFE in Illustration and a certificate of higher education in Textiles and Surface Design.

A lifelong interest in Knitting, Clothes and Surface Design has cumulated in the creation of knitwear, homeware and accessories.
She also does Illustration, Product Design, Embroidery, Millinery and Image conversion to order.

"I simply can't imagine doing anything else with my life then creating my pieces.

I think yarn was one of my first loves, I can't remember a time when I was without it and I feel that what I create has to be worthy of the materials I choose.
I have a lot of yarn that I've had fora long time, carefully stored until I know what to do with it.
I use a lot of vintage and rare yarns either as main ingredients or as focal points in my pieces and I find the majority of my inspiration in the Pre Raphaelites, the Rococo era, Victorian/Edwardian styles and Myths and Legends."
