HELGA PIKAL
Artist - Ireland
Helga Pikal was born in former Czechoslovakia, spend time living in Germany (in and around Munich) and is now based and working in Ireland (Connemara). Helga started to make her One-of-a-kind character Art Dolls about 18 years ago.
She had exhibitions all over Ireland,her dolls(most popular characters are her
WITCHES, WIZARDS and FAIRIES) were sold worldwide.
In the last 2 years, Helga experimented in CREATIVE EMBROIDERY, studying embroidery styles and patterns of different
cultures.
As the result, she had a successfull exhibition in the "Town Hall Theatre Galway" in autumn 2007.
