There is always a moment we take to reflect upon after a dream. It is that moment that opens a door to the creativeness that shall soon visit after the period of contemplation has subsided. When and how to choose that moment is what this article is about! The other evening I awaken to what I shall define as a moment bestow in a time when it was most needed. It was about 11pm and I was in my studio attempting to sketch something I may paint at another time. I was doing this to soft music and very dim candle lights. before I could realize what was going on I totally fell asleep. A moment later I awaken in this dark tunnel. I looked in both directions and it seem like an endless obyss of time standing in a window of darkness. There seem to be a dim light a distance away, so I followed this tunnel and notice as I was getting closer and closer to the light, there were images along the way on the dark walls. They were not just any image. They were images of work I have never seen before in my life. As the light grew stronger so did these images. Suddenly I awakened in my studio. My faculties seem some what off balance. I could remember the images on the wall so vividly. it was strange yet vexing. A moment later I had an epiphany. All my life I have almost always painted dreams. All of a sudden I realize The Dreams I have been painting were of the pieces I have visited in the deepest corridors of my soul. There is where the true pieces resided. this was the well I have been tapping into all my life without knowing it during my waking life. Jay Lonewolf |
