the 7th edition of  the international exhibition of the Florence Biennale of Contemporary Art of 2009   Artist Mehriban Efendiyeva, contemporary international artist from Azerbaijan has gotten an official invitation from the Scientifik Commitee Jury of the  Florence Bienniale of Contemporary Art of 2009  to exhibite  her art works in this  upcoming event.

The event will be held at the historic Fortezza da Basso in Florence from 5--13 December,2009.Marina Abromovic ,the acclaimed performance artist ,will be the honored guest at this edition and she will be awarded the Lorenzo il Magnifico prize. 800 artist coming from 80 countries will be exhibiting more than 2,500 artworks and there will be an extraordinary meeting of cultures ,languages and diverse artistic styles.The Florence Biennial supports the United Nations program "Dialogue between civilizations",to which the Bienniale has officially adhered since 2001.

The Florence Bienniale is biggest exhibition hold in the earth. It always attracts the famouse people of the world and also diplomatic ,governmental people ,representatives and mostly ministries of cultures from all over the world.  Amongst official participants of the exhibition  have been the  Prince of Wales Charles,the Qween Viktoriya and actress of Jino Lolobridge The Florence Biennale supports the United Nations program“Dialogue between civilizations”, to which the Biennale has officially adheredsince 2001.

The International Scientific Commitee ,composed of 20 qualified members,chooses the artists and places their work into one of the categories painting,sculpture,graphic art,mixed media,installation pieces,photography and digital art.

The selection is decided upon with no prejudice towards style.The artists are selected based on the quality of their artwork and the cultural values their work represents.
