The Minnesota Historical Society (MHS) and the Minnesota Museum of American Art (MMAA) have collaborated on a new exhibition, which opened on July 20. "In Her Own Right: Minnesota's First Generation of Women Artists" answers these and other questions about the history of art in Minnesota. The show features the art of Frances Cranmer Greenman, Alice Hugy, Clara Mairs, Josephine Lutz Rollins and Ada Wolfe. Nearly 100 artworks are on display.
